Previous to becoming a coach, Alija devoted their career to leadership development facilitation for youth and adults. Their entire professional life was spent in summer camps, nontraditional schools, and grassroots nonprofits, focusing on developing self-aware and action-oriented individuals ready to take ownership of their role in the movement for justice.
